New things in Appsmith

All the product features that are fit to print.

Salesforce and Zendesk integrations

Say goodbye to complex APIs and manual data handling for sales and support! With our new Salesforce and Zendesk integrations, Business and Enterprise customers can seamlessly connect, query, and manage your customer data within Appsmith.

These integrations are now open for beta testing! Want to try them out and share your feedback? Let us know by filling out this form and we’ll turn them on for you.

Custom widget copilot

Building a custom widget just got way easier thanks to our AI copilot.

Now when you drop a custom widget onto your canvas, a new tab is available alongside the standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript windows. Open this AI chatbot and describe the widget you want to see. A few seconds later, you’ll get back the widget you ordered — fully formed and ready to go.

Results not quite right? Tweak the code, design, or functionality as much as you want — same as ever.

IDE enhancements

Updates to our IDE majorly improve the developer experience with Appsmith.

  • Split Mode — Now the default view, our split-mode layout lets you interact with queries and your UI at the same time — putting an end to any context-switching headaches. Responsive queries even adapt to your screen size and orientation. Meanwhile, an upgrade to the Query tab lets you switch smoothly between entities, while the updated datasource tab lets you view databases schemas and generate queries with the click of a button.

  • Enhanced Debugger: Debug your applications faster and more effectively with enhanced logs that include request parameters. Navigate quickly using the improved linter, and use our new state inspector to get visibility into your application state.

Pull-based package updates

Tired of "package not found" errors? We switched our package update process to a pull-based model, eliminating the issue forever.

Now, Appsmith retrieves the latest update to your team’s packages just in time for your developers to use them. Packages are always available when you need them, without any annoying time outs or the need to republish. A pull approach also improves performance, since your updates happen just-in-time instead of occurring for every app every time they're published. Win win!

Managed hosting

Got the self-hosting scaries? It’s OK — we’ll do it for you! With our new managed hosting, you get your own dedicated infrastructure with 99.99% guaranteed uptime and enterprise-grade security. We take care of auto-scaling, system updates, and all the other overhead that drives your IT department bananas.

Connect securely through VPC/VPN, and use trusted login methods like SAML, OIDC, and AD. You’ll get fast API responses (up to 100 per second), performance monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus, and flexible subdomain configuration options.

We’ve even streamlined the migration process for self-hosted instances! Reach out to learn more.

Simplified pricing

You asked, we listened. Appsmith now has a streamlined pricing model for new users that makes it easier to predict costs as you scale your business. (Pricing remains the same for existing users.)

Appsmith now comes in three flavors:

  • Free Edition ($0) — Perfect for small teams and individual developers to explore Appsmith's core features — with easy upgrade options as your needs grow.

  • Business Edition ($15/user/month) — Built for growing teams, this edition adds collaboration features, unlimited environments, advanced workflows, and dedicated support to help teams build and deploy faster.

  • Enterprise Edition ($2,500/month for 100 users) — Designed for organizations requiring enhanced security, scalability, and support. Enterprise includes managed hosting, SAML/OIDC integration, custom roles, and dedicated solutions engineering.

BTW — there’s no additional charge for developer seats (unlike other platforms), so anyone can build and edit applications (without worrying about blowing their budget).

Small but mighty features and improvements

  • Shared Google Drive integration — Access and manage files directly from Shared Google Drives in your applications. Perfect for teams working with shared documents and resources.

  • Snowflake key-pair authentication — We've added support for key-pair authentication in Snowflake connections, providing an additional secure method for handling large-scale data operations.

  • HTML column support — Tables now support HTML content in columns, enabling rich data presentation that includes formatted text, links, and custom styling.

  • Enhanced inline editing — Another improvement to the Table widget! Select fields now display human-readable labels instead of raw values during inline editing. We’ve also added a Custom Loading State property for better control over loading indicators, and we’ve fixed validation handling and currentRow functionality for more reliable operations.

  • JSObject performance — JSObject operations are now significantly faster, with near-instant save times to keep your development flow uninterrupted.

  • File handling — File upload limits on S3 have been increased to 100MB, supporting larger files like media assets and datasets in your applications.

  • Intermodule references — Users can now directly reference a module in another module, eliminating the need to create private queries or private JavaScript.
